"They don't care how much you know - until they know how much you care."

Students are looking to be inspired. They want something to believe in. Too often, though, they find the wrong things in which to believe. Students have a vast array of self-destructive habits and a backpack full of reasons why they cannot succeed. They must be taught new habits and new attitudes if they are to succeed.

Many times, we educators feel like we're banging our head against a wall trying to fill our students brains with knowledge. Maybe the problem is that we're aiming too high. Perhaps we should be aiming at their hearts.

In order to inspire others, you must be inspired. Solutions, etc. wants to inspire you and then equip you to go back to your classrooms and inspire young people. It's amazing how much the head can learn when the heart is inspired.

Warning: Teachers who believe that there is no time to spend on motivating students in their class may not appreciate this session.
